The Unit
Want to go deeper in your knowledge and understanding of who God is and His principles? Come join us at 14:30 for 2 hours of teaching on the different aspects of God and living the Christian life. Each session will be on a different subject and taught by members of the Explosion leadership team and guest speakers. It is essential to your Christian walk to know not just about your own personal experiences with God, but also about His word. In addition to believing, you need to know WHY you believe and be able to back it up with Biblical foundation. These sessions will deepen you in your walk and maturity as well as provide you with the arsenal you need to go out and battle the darkness in your own communities.
Pre Service Prayer
At each Explosion, we have an intense time of worship and prayer before the main meeting begins. Everyone is invited to come at 17:30 and enter in with us as we cry out for the spirit of God to be released in this place, in this city, in this country and in this continent.
We are dedicated to see an anointing released in this generation that has the power to break through the darkness; through hopelessness and despair and bring the light of God with all of His glory, power and might. The only way we can see this happen is by crying out to God that He would rend the heavens and come down. We burn for God’s presence and this time of worship and intercession is all about going deep in Him.
Vision
Explosion is a movement that desires to reach and connect this generation with God, to see them raised up and released into their true purpose in Christ.
One of the ways we are doing this is by instilling values that go beyond the “normal” and challenge each young person to walk out their relationship with the Lord in a way that is pleasing to the heart of God.
Values
We are called to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength and the enemy is constantly trying to draw our affections and attention away from that place of complete devotion to Jesus. We desire to see a generation who’s hearts are fully His and will fight to keep their heart in His hands.
Being a Christian should go way beyond just getting saved. Jesus came to save, heal, and deliver. We want to see a generation that isn’t just saved but we want to see them walk in the freedom that God has for them and be an example of that freedom to the people around them.
We are called to be an example to believers and to go make disciples. In every area of lives we are to live the way Christ wants us to be. We cannot lead people into a way of life that we are not living ourselves. It is not about how you live on Sunday or Wednesday but everyday and in everything. We desire to see a generation that not only lives a life of pure devotion and freedom, but also leads other?people into that lifestyle.

Our Philosophy
We believe in this generation; in the many talents and creative ways it has to express itself. We strive to implement “old” and “new” ways to train and equip this generation with the hope to see each one released into the plan God has for them.
One of the ways we are achieving those goals is by providing a platform for local talents to express themselves. Over the years, more than 30 bands have used Explosion as a platform to showcase their gifts be it through music or dance. We also provide extended times of discipleship through modules like “The Unit” and we are hoping to soon expand into training for multimedia such as sound, lights, video production and more.

We defined Explosion as a movement and not a ministry simply because we believe that it’s larger than that. A movement inspires , challenges individuals and helps momentum to reach other places than just it’s own area of influence. We strongly desire to see the youth of Belgium come together and unite in anyway shape or form to expand the kingdom of God and take their place to fulfill their corporate and individual calling that God has for them.
David Vandeput
Founder
David and Myriam are the Director of PEFY (Pentecostal European Forum for Youth) and also the overseer for the Christian Center Brussels youth group . They are also one of the founders of CJ a national youth conference. David and Myriam have a great passion for the youth and both believe that God is moving mightly among this generation and that we’re going to see revival across Belgium and Europe through the youth. they have 2 kids; Kevin (18) and Chelsy (12).
Romualdo Amadar
Founder
Maldo is Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor of The Lighthouse Centre (used to be known as Christian Center Anderlecht). The church is part of the European International Churches under the Assemblies of God. He has a passion to see a mighty move of God in this generation and see revival across Belgium and Europe. He strongly believes that revival will come through the youth.
Nathanael Beumier
Board Member
Nathanael and Isabelle are the pastors and founders of the Church ‘Christians in Action’ in the region of Charleroi since 2000. They have 2 daughters Sarah (7 years old) and Jennie (18 month) Nathanaël is also Praise and Worship Leader, Speaker in many youth conference and sound engineer for Homestudiopro But above all that, they have a heart to see this generation on fire for Jesus!
Jonathan Vandeput
Board Member
Jon and Destiny both have a strong call to the French speaking people and the European Youth. They have a mandate from the Lord that from the heart of Europe, the Lord will pour out a wave of revival across the continent. Jonathan, a Belgian national, and Destiny have been married since 2005 and have two young children, Lyric and Shiloh.
Nathan Watkins
Board Member
Nathan and Courtney Watkins moved their family of 6 to Brussels in May of 2010. They have a strong call to see the youth of Europe changed from the heart out. They want to see a generation rise up that know the importance of intimacy with the Father, and the role they have in ushering in the return of the King. They both have been serving in different capacities at Shady Grove Church over the past 12 years.
Laetitia Marcq
Board Member
Laetitia Marcq is from an atheist background, she had a powerful encounter with God that radically changed her life. She has a passion for God and for young people. Her desire is to see the lost connected to God’s heart and discover their true identity and purpose in Him. She strongly believes that youth will change their world through the Gospel. She’s involved in evangelism and discipleship and works now as a staff with a ministry called Ninth Hour
